Terms of Service

Upkept turns the home details you provide into a season-by-season maintenance calendar, printable diagrams, a recap clip and exports. It is an online-only digital software subscription: no physical goods are sold, produced or shipped, and there is no delivery, collection or on-site service. It does not carry out, inspect, certify, or arrange any physical work, and it does not dispatch tradespeople or collect repair fees.

You must be at least 13 to use Upkept, and users aged 13 to 17 must have a parent or guardian’s consent. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

You agree to use Upkept lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use outputs to act unsafely on regulated systems.

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed in USD through our payment processor. Allowances are per period and do not carry over. Your subscription renews until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues to the end of the current paid period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You keep ownership of the home details you enter and the plans, diagrams and records you generate, as set out in the Content License. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service and produce your outputs.

Upkept outputs are reminders and record templates, not building, structural, gas, electrical, fire or safety advice, and do not guarantee against damage. Statutory checks must be carried out by qualified professionals under your local rules. See the AI Disclaimer. You are responsible for how you act on any output.

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, improve or change features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on outputs without professional verification. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

You may stop using Upkept at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination, your right to use the service ends; you may export your plan beforehand.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
